• COVID-19 mRNA injections are a fundamentally different technology from traditional vaccines because they instruct the body’s cells to produce spike protein rather than introducing small amounts of an inactivated or weakened pathogen.

• Millions of people were denied meaningful informed consent because the products’ true mechanism of action, risks, and uncertainties were not fully disclosed before injection.

• Early treatment options for COVID-19, including ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, were suppressed while mass “vaccination” was promoted as the only viable response.

Political

1. The British Columbia Government announced this week its decision to discontinue provincial operating funding for the ARC Foundation, the organization responsible for developing and promoting SOGI 123 educational resources. In March of 2025, the National Citizens Inquiry held “Are Children Safe in Canada?” hearings in Vancouver, British Columbia. During the course of the 3-day hearings the NCI Commissioners documented concerns regarding SOGI-related policies in BC schools and recommended greater transparency, parental consultation and independent curriculum review.” Today’s announcement reflects the importance of continuing evidence-based review of educational policy.

2. The UK’s incoming prime minister, Andy Burnham, is set to scrap the country’s controversial digital ID plan, which would have been required for residents to prove they were eligible to work. Digital IDs were first introduced in September 2025 by Burnham’s predecessor, Keir Starmer, to tackle illegal immigration, but the idea faced backlash as people feared that it would push the UK toward a surveillance state. The digital identification cards were initially going to be required for every worker until Starmer dropped the mandatory rule and made it optional in January after the pushback. More than six in 10 people in the UK were concerned that the government would use the IDs to track their movements, according to a poll released on July 16 by Liberty Human Rights. Britain’s Office for Budget Responsibility predicted that the program would have cost 1.8 billion pounds ($2.4 billion) from financial years 2026–2027 to 2028–2029. Link↗

3. Women and Gender Equality Canada has officially closed its accounts on the X social media platform, citing concerns that comments from users were causing mental distress among employees. Women and Gender Equality Canada had kept its accounts dormant since March 2025, following an International Women’s Day post that drew a wave of responses, before formally closing them in late May 2026. Deputy Minister Frances McRae wrote a memo to Minister of Women and Gender Equality (WAGE) Rechie Valdez to explain the move. “As discussed with your office, WAGE posts to the X channel have attracted a significant volume of comments consisting of hate directed towards women and 2SLGBTAI+ people, and to the department more generally,” McRae wrote in the May 25 memo. McRae added the comments have caused “significant mental strains” for departmental employees tasked with managing the social media accounts. In explaining her decision, the deputy minister noted Canada Labour Code provisions around the duty of the employer on occupational health and safety to prevent psychological injuries. Could it be that the issue is that Women and Gender Equality Canada doesn’t seem to know what a woman is and don’t like being corrected by the public. Link↗

4. The Project Confederation Team wrote this week: “For months, Canadians have watched President Donald Trump impose new tariffs and trade restrictions on Canadian products. Canada should continue pushing back against American protectionism. But we should also be honest about our own protectionism. For decades, Canada has maintained supply management for dairy, poultry, and eggs through our own series of production quotas, import restrictions, tariffs, and price controls. Those policies limit competition, increase prices for Canadian consumers, and have repeatedly become a sticking point in international trade negotiations. It’s not just the US unhappy with our tariffs - the UK formally called off a trade deal in 2024 due to Canada refusing to remove our supply management tariffs. How can Canada have any credibility arguing for free and open trade abroad, when we aren’t even willing to practice it at home? Free trade can’t simply be a principle we tell other countries to follow. It should be one on which Canada leads by example. Removing supply management would lower barriers to trade, strengthen Canada’s position in future trade negotiations, expand export opportunities for industries that compete internationally, and give Canadian consumers more choice. Government welfare programs - which is what supply management ultimately is - might help a person or an industry in the short term, but ultimately they build dependency. The answer to American tariffs isn’t more protectionism. It’s less. Project Confederation believes Canada should embrace genuine free trade, both between provinces and with our international trading partners. If we expect other countries to remove barriers against Canadian products, we should be prepared to remove unnecessary barriers of our own.” Link↗

6. Over the weekend, John Bolton’s Alberta Independence hosted a live Telethon from Lethbridge. They discussed the growing momentum behind Alberta’s independence movement, what they were seeing on the ground, and why so many Albertans are getting involved. The 12-hour telethon raised approximately $150,000 for independence-focused third-party advertiser groups ahead of the referendum campaign. One of the signs said – Alberta makes. Ottawa takes. Link↗

Medicine / Health

1. Chris Nemeth, a Melbourne father, has reportedly received Australia’s largest individual COVID-19 vaccine injury compensation award to date. Nemeth developed chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, a autoimmune neurological disorder affecting the peripheral nerves, following his first AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine in July 2021. It is reported that Nemeth’s settlement totaled approximately 6.5 million Australian dollars, describing it as the largest known individual payout under Australia’s COVID-19 Vaccine Claims Scheme. According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, nearly 5,000 claims were lodged, with approximately 560 resulting in compensation totaling more than AU$40 million, while hundreds of claims remain unresolved. ABC investigations have documented claimants describing lengthy delays, complex administrative requirements and significant financial and emotional hardship while awaiting decisions. Public health authorities continue to conclude that serious adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination remain rare and that vaccination delivered substantial public health benefits during the pandemic. 2. Message from World Council for Health – “Remember when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, referred to Ivermectin in 2021 - “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”? At the time, the legacy media, doing the bidding of Big Pharma, also ridiculed this old medicine, desperately trying to stymie its adoption. Now it seems that quietly things are changing amongst publicly funded healthcare systems, in the UK at least. In the National Health Service (NHS) in England, prescriptions for Ivermectin have increased by more than 300%. What averaged 33 prescriptions per month in 2020 became 372 prescriptions in 2023, 2,200 prescriptions in October 2024 and is now 11,000 prescriptions per month! Maybe they now know what Dr Tess Lawrie and others have been saying since 2021.” Link↗

Legal

1. A Maryland public school teacher, represented by a coalition of attorneys with Alliance Defending Freedom, asked the U.S. Supreme Court Friday to hear her case, Polk v. Montgomery County Public Schools. Kimberly Polk worked as a substitute teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools during the 2021-2022 school year. But when Polk logged onto the district’s teacher portal to complete mandatory training, she learned that the district now required her to confirm that she would (1) use a student’s preferred pronouns, even when those pronouns are inconsistent with the student’s sex, and (2) keep secret from parents any information that their child identifies as the opposite sex at school, unless the child gives consent. Polk is a Christian with a deeply held belief that every person is created male or female in the image of God and worthy of dignity and respect. She also believes that people cannot change their God-given sex. While Polk was willing to call her students by a preferred name and avoid using pronouns for students who identified as the opposite sex, she couldn’t lie to a child by using a wrong-sex pronoun. Yet, when Polk asked for a religious accommodation, Montgomery County Public Schools refused. As a result, Polk was not allowed to teach in the district during the following school years. “Public school teachers shouldn’t have to violate their religious beliefs to keep their jobs,” said ADF Senior Counsel Chris Schandevel. “Under the First Amendment, schools cannot force teachers like Kimberly to personally endorse the school’s radical views about gender identity. Kimberly shouldn’t be forced to lie to students and keep secrets from parents, especially when doing so will steer a child toward experimental and dangerous ‘gender transition’ drugs that can result in a lifetime of harm.” Link↗

2. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit ruled Thursday in favor of a New York mother, allowing her lawsuit against her daughter’s school to proceed. Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys represent Jennifer Vitsaxaki in the case, Vitsaxaki v. Skaneateles Central School District, in which school officials secretly treated Vitsaxaki’s daughter as a boy without her permission. “Parents have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing, education, and healthcare of their children,” said ADF Senior Counsel Kate Anderson, director of the Center for Parental Rights. “When parents drop their kids off at school, they place great trust in the school. And when schools cut parents out of weighty decisions about their own kids, they betray that trust. That’s what happened here. School officials made decisions about the girl’s identity that should’ve been Jennifer’s to make. We are encouraged by the 2nd Circuit’s ruling today, canceling the decision below and sending the case back to the district court in light of the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling, Mirabelli v. Bonta. We will be urging the district court to vindicate Jennifer’s fundamental right to make consequential decisions about her daughter’s well-being.” Link↗

3. The Law Society of B.C. has issued a clarification to settle a defamation case and changed coursework language as it relates to the ground-penetrating radar findings at the Kamloops Indian Residential School site. Criminal defence lawyer James Heller claimed the Law Society of BC republished false and defamatory statements made against him when he proposed changes to mandatory Indigenous training coursework at the society’s 2024 annual general meeting. Heller contended the course should not assert as fact that human remains of 215 children had been discovered in Kamloops. Later, the BC First Nations Justice Council issued a statement calling Heller’s resolution racist and a denial of the Indigenous genocide. The society included the council’s statement in an online press release ahead of the meeting. Heller then sued the society for defamation in 2025. On May 29 the Law Society of BC posted a short clarification on its website that, in part, said: “To the degree it was understood by some to have defamed Mr. Heller, the Law Society wishes to confirm that was not its intention.” On July 17 Heller confirmed that he and the society had settled. Heller is pleased that the course now states: “There are 200 targets of interest at the Kamloops site that are probable burials as they demonstrate multiple GPR characteristics of burials.” Heller said his resolution to the law society was to ensure the Indigenous education lawyers received was based on the facts at the time. Heller noted in his defamation affidavit he had concerns that the original coursework language could lead to abuse of judges as he contends happened when an Indigenous criminal defendant charged a B.C. Supreme Court trial judge with bias after qualifying the alleged unmarked graves as “potential” unmarked graves during the course of discussion in the courtroom. Heller has since become concerned First Nations leaders have gone on to make calls for the criminalization of what they describe as “residential school denialism.” Heller said such a prospect is “outrageous” and he has not denied anything. 4. A message from Rebel News: “Rebel News was in court this week to defend Tamara Lich’s right to work while under house arrest. Tamara was sentenced to house arrest more than six months ago. But house arrest comes with one basic exemption written right into the law: you’re allowed to work. Tamara works for Rebel News. She’s done nearly a dozen reporting trips for Rebel News since her sentencing, all cleared line by line with her probation officer in Alberta. When she attended the U.S. Ambassador’s Fourth of July event — as a journalist —the regime media lost their minds. And suddenly, her right to work vanished. No trips outside Canada. No trips even outside Alberta. How is a national reporter supposed to cover the country if she can’t leave her own home? I’m not blaming her Alberta probation officer, who has been cooperative and fair. I believe Ontario’s prosecutors — Doug Ford’s prosecutors — reached across provinces to clip her wings because they don’t like her politics. Clearly this is a political prosecution.” Link↗

5. National Institutes of Health (NIH) emails recently obtained by ICAN via a FOIA lawsuit show that senior NIH officials—including Fauci, Collins, and Tabak—were aware as early as April 2021 of neurological injuries occurring after Covid-19 vaccination. Avindra (Avi) Nath, a senior investigator at NIH’s National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) attempted to publish a report on the subject, but NIH leaders expressed concern that it might fuel “vaccine hesitancy and social-media overreaction.” ICAN filed a lawsuit to obtain these emails in June 2025, after NIH failed to respond to a FOIA request sent in October of 2023. ICAN’s attorneys proved successful and the emails are finally being released. The emails concern research conducted by Nath describing 24 patients who developed neuropathy-like symptoms following Covid-19 vaccination. Nath sent his draft to Walter Koroshetz, then-Director of NINDS. On April 21, 2021, Koroshetz informed Anthony Fauci about Nath’s work. Koroshetz wrote: “There have been steady slow stream of reports to me of post vaccination neurologic conditions, seem to be mostly peripheral nerve disorders... maybe an occasional spinal cord issue. Avi has been collecting a bunch. He has a report sent out to publish.” An April 28th email informed then-NIH Director Francis Collins and then-Principal Deputy Director Lawrence Tabak about Nath’s manuscript. Collins replied that he found “this approach very troubling” and expressed concern that “collecting anecdotes and then trying to build a case isn’t scientifically compelling—and will have the main consequence of feeding vaccine hesitancy and social media overreaction.” Tabak replied privately to Collins with his own even blunter reaction: “I don’t understand why Walter does not shut this down.” While the emails do not prove that Collins, Tabak, or Fauci expressly ordered Nath to abandon the manuscript, they raise serious questions about whether NIH leadership viewed its potential effect on vaccine confidence as a compelling reason to suppress its publication. The manuscript was never published in a peer-reviewed journal. Notably absent from the emails is any real concern about these troubling adverse events so early on in a nationwide vaccine campaign! 6. Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), a research, engineering and consulting company based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, agreed to resolve charges of discrimination filed with U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for $5 million and other relief, the federal agency announced today. The EEOC received multiple charges of discrimination alleging that BEA denied employees religious and/or disability accommodations to the company’s vaccine mandate policy. The EEOC’s systemic investigation found reasonable cause to believe that BEA discriminated against a class of more than 100 employees by denying accommodations for their sincerely held religious beliefs and/or disabilities under the company’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy. The investigation found discrimination included unlawful medical inquiries, denial of accommodations, and in some cases, termination. Denial of religious and/or disability-related accommodations, absent undue hardship to the employer, violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on religion, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits discrimination based on disability. Citizen Action

1. Opponents of the rapid buildout of data centers held 142 protests across 42 states on July 18 in the first nationwide effort to channel anger at the AI infrastructure expansion that has ramped up over the past year and roiled local politics. The protests were coordinated by Humans First. Protesters rallied against what Humans First calls the “unaccountable” buildout of data centers and “unacceptable infringement on our liberty.” Link↗

2. Erin Brockovich is getting Americans to report data centers in their backyards. The renowned environmental activist, whose work inspired the Julia Roberts film “Erin Brockovich,” launched a registry of US data centers in April, inviting nearby residents to report how the projects are affecting their communities. Brockovich created what’s called brockovichdatacenter.com, where people, if they were having issues with data centers in their backyard, could self-report. Link↗

3. The group “Conscious Parents and Active Citizens” are pleased to announce that they have launched a Global Petition for Signatures on Change.org. Their main demands are a broader independent investigation into the reported side effects associated with mRNA vaccines and a halt to the further expansion of mRNA vaccine technology, until additional improvements are made to safety and efficacy and truly constitute EMPIRICAL SCIENTIFIC PROGRESS . In April 2025, their team also sent an open letter / inquiry / study to relevant authorities, members of the scientific community, and judicial and prosecutorial authorities. Among other issues, they requested an investigation into concerns regarding sudden deaths and increased morbidity reported following the mass vaccination period, particularly among young and previously healthy individuals. Since they have not received responses from the relevant authorities, they are now proceeding with this global petition, addressed to citizens in Greece and internationally, as well as to associations of citizens and scientists seeking Truth, Freedom, and Justice. This is a call to active citizens around the world to unite through signatures and collective action. They believe that every person has the right to protect their health and to ask questions openly and freely, as befits a civilized and democratic society. They hope that conscientious citizens from all countries will respond, so that with strong international support, their shared vision for a healthier, freer, and more just world can become a reality. In Santa Clara County, California, one pastor’s decision to keep his church open during lockdowns triggered a relentless campaign of government retaliation: a county-orchestrated police setup at a drive-in service, a restraining order that literally barred him from entering his own church, and health officials who geofenced the property and spied on congregants... counting hugs through binoculars. And he was fined more than $4 million dollars in fines. But the most surprising part? Even the opposing counsel in the lawsuit eventually stepped in to support him. The first trilogy follows the scientific research itself, beginning with simple observations and progressing through increasingly sophisticated laboratory analysis. Overview: Research Trilogy

The following presentations I gave explore the scientific investigation itself. Together, the three research papers published by Dr. Bruce Rapley and Matthew Shelton examine different aspects of these unusual structures, with each study building on the findings of the previous one.

Part 1: Morphological / Histological Analysis

The investigation began with a simple question: are these white, rubbery vascular structures simply unusual blood clots, or something entirely different?

The researchers compared their appearance and microscopic structure with both classical antemortem thrombi and postmortem clots. They identified Lines of Zahn, showing that at least part of these structures formed while blood was actively circulating rather than after death. At the same time, the specimens contained remarkably few blood cells compared with conventional thrombi. Together, these consistent findings suggested that the anomalous intravascular casts may represent a novel phenomenon.

Part 2: Understanding the Chemistry

Having established that these structures appeared to be unique, the next step was to examine their chemistry.

Using elemental analysis, the researchers found that the casts were dramatically depleted in sulfur and highly enriched in phosphorus compared with conventional fibrin clots. These consistent chemical signatures suggested the presence of an additional non-protein component and could not be explained by normal clotting alone, setting the stage for molecular investigation in the final paper.

Part 3: Examining the Protein Signature

The final research paper examined the molecular composition of the casts to better understand why they behave so differently from conventional blood clots.

Proteomic analysis identified 541 human proteins, nine of which dominated the casts. The researchers found a highly abnormal fibrin composition, together with marked deficiencies of plasminogen and tissue plasminogen activator (tPA)—proteins essential for normal clot breakdown. These findings may help explain the casts’ unusual durability, continued growth, and resistance to conventional fibrinolytic therapies.

Part 1: Dealing With Institutional Suppression

In the first part of the interview, Dr. Bruce Rapley provides the broader context for the investigation by explaining the difficult political landscape the research team had to navigate.

Dr. Bruce Rapley describes how abnormalities in fibrin, hemoglobin, and several immune-related proteins point to extensive cellular damage, inflammation, and immune activation. He also discusses how deficiencies in the normal clot-dissolving system may help explain why these casts continue to persist and grow rather than being broken down by the body.

Part 4: Novel Clots and Other Post-COVID-Injection Danger Signals

The final section of the interview broadens the discussion beyond the anomalous intravascular casts to consider their wider implications for human health and future research.

Dr. Bruce Rapley discusses how the findings fit within a broader systems-based view of disease, explores potential consequences for multiple organ systems, and calls for independent scientists to replicate the research using transparent methods. What We Know So Far

Across these seven presentations and what we know about the injections more broadly, a concerning picture is emerging. The research documents a previously unrecognized type of intravascular cast, demonstrates that it differs from conventional blood clots in both its microscopic appearance and chemical composition, and identifies distinctive protein signatures that may explain its formation, persistence, and resistance to normal clot breakdown.

While many questions remain unanswered, knowing how these structures form and behave provides a foundation for developing diagnostic tools, investigating potential therapeutic approaches, and guiding future research. 1. New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed an executive order on July 14 ordering a statewide moratorium on large data centers, making it the first state in the country to suspend construction of the server farms. Hochul’s order halts the construction and expansion of data centers for up to a year while state regulators develop standards to address the energy demand, environmental impacts, and water usage of hyperscale data centers. The statewide moratorium applies to data centers that use 50 megawatts or more of energy. Link↗

2. After six years of unanswered questions, contradictions, and evasion, Anthony Fauci may finally be forced to answer publicly for his role in the COVID pandemic. Senator Rand Paul announced that Fauci is set to testify before his committee next week. Sen. Paul also made clear that anything Fauci says during this hearing will not be protected by the presidential pardon Joe Biden signed before leaving office, meaning any new false testimony could carry real consequences.

Message from The Alberta Fact Check Team: “The critics of Alberta independence had a busy day — insisting the province couldn’t go it alone, campaigning off the books, and hunting for foreign money. The facts pushed back on all three. First, skeptics claim a sovereign Alberta would be starting from scratch. Not so: more than 30 new countries have emerged since 1990, and Alberta already has its own legislature, courts, universities, hospitals, and one of the world’s largest oil reserves. This province is nobody’s blank slate. Next, Unifor says it’s mobilizing members to campaign against independence — yet the union appears nowhere on Elections Alberta’s public registry of third-party advertisers. That list exists so Albertans know who’s paying to sway the vote. The same rules apply whether you campaign for independence or against it. Finally, Treaty 8 Grand Chief Trevor Mercredi demanded an investigation into foreign funding of the movement. The RCMP already checked in May and found none, and registered advertisers can’t take out-of-province money — yet six bands under his own purview won’t post their audited finances. Medicine / Health

1. As of last week, Germany is no longer recommending COVID-19 shots for healthy people under age 75, including pregnant women. The new recommendations mark a significant departure from the country’s previous guidance, which called for annual boosters for adults 60 and over. According to Germany’s Standing Committee on Vaccination, routine COVID-19 vaccination is no longer necessary for healthy adults because most people have developed hybrid immunity — through vaccination, infection or both — and severe COVID-19 infections are now uncommon outside high-risk groups. German toxicologist Helmut Sterz, called the new guidance a “political charade” by the Robert Koch Institute, Germany’s equivalent of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Sterz said the “government-dependent RKI” adopted the new recommendations because it “can no longer go on with telling the population lies” about the safety or necessity of the COVID-19 shots. The changes come amid a decline in COVID-19 vaccine uptake in several European countries. The decline led Pfizer to sue Poland and Romania and freeze some of their funds after those governments cancelled their contracts for COVID-19 vaccine doses, citing low demand. Link↗

2. Last week, Health & Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. proposed rule changes to the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program, a federally-funded program designed to compensate Americans who have suffered adverse reactions to Covid vaccines or other Covid virus countermeasures. Kennedy is also proposing a new list of injuries from Covid vaccines. The new rules mean that anyone who was given or used a covered countermeasure (primarily the Covid vaccine) and can show that they sustained an injury listed on a Countermeasures Injury Table within the time interval set forth on that Table, is eligible for compensation. The table will detail injuries that are based on compelling, reliable, valid, medical, and scientific evidence. Such injuries will be presumed to be caused by covered Covid-19 countermeasures. Richard Hughes IV, a lead attorney representing the American Academy of Pediatrics has claimed that too many compensated Covid vaccine victims could result in vaccine hesitancy.

1. The Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne have run Rosary Hill Home for 125 years, providing free palliative care to thousands of poor, terminally ill cancer patients without taking taxpayer money. New York’s LGBTQ Long-Term Care Bill of Rights now threatens them with fines, license revocation, or prison for refusing to use preferred pronouns, allow opposite-sex bathroom use, or undergo gender ideology training, prompting a religious-freedom lawsuit in which the U.S. Department of Justice has joined them as a co-plaintiff. 2. From Drea Humphrey with Rebel News: A Kelowna drag performer is suing a Canadian non-profit for defamation for describing content he posted himself on his own website. It’s as crazy as it sounds... and if he wins, it could set a dangerous precedent for parents, journalists, and advocacy groups who publicly question what drag performers are showing to children. Action4Canada is the non-profit being sued, and Tyson Cook, who goes by his stage name “Freida Whales,” is the performer and Kelowna education assistant behind the lawsuit. The case stems from a 2023 petition in which Action4Canada questioned why Cook’s publicly available online content, featuring graphic depictions of murder and cannibalism alongside sexually suggestive material, sat on the same web page he uses to promote his drag storytime shows for kids. Cook says the group’s words damaged his reputation. Action4Canada says it simply pointed to content Cook posted himself — and that pointing it out isn’t hate, it’s fair comment. Action4Canada’s petition gathered close to 20,000 signatures, calling on the City of Kelowna to end what it calls taxpayer-funded sexualization of children, and asking the local school district to reassess whether Cook should keep working as an education assistant. The judge has set September 1 as the date to explain her ruling directly to the public. The real question here has nothing to do with drag and everything to do with what you’re allowed to say about it. 3. A federal appeals court today revived more than 500 lawsuits alleging that Tylenol maker Kenvue failed to warn consumers that taking the pain reliever during pregnancy could increase the risk of autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in children. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York found that a lower court improperly excluded testimony from three expert witnesses offered by parents and guardians pursuing the claims. In a 64-page decision, Circuit Judge Guido Calabresi stressed that the appeals court was not deciding whether acetaminophen causes autism or ADHD, or whether elected officials should take additional steps to protect public health. Instead, the ruling found that the testimony should be heard as the litigation moves forward. The ruling sends the lawsuits back to U.S. District Judge Denise Cote for further proceedings. The lawsuits allege that Kenvue concealed risks associated with prenatal exposure to acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol. Link↗

4. On June 11, lawyers for the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom filed an application for judicial review on behalf of Bradley and Linda Osborne of Foothills County, Alberta. They are asking the Federal Court to rule that portions of the long-form census are unjustified violations of our Charter rights and freedoms. JCCF lawyers argue that forcing Canadians to disclose deeply personal information violates their right to life, liberty, and security of the person and their right to be secure against unreasonable search and seizure.

5. The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms announced that the Ontario Divisional Court has ruled that the Ontario Ministry of Transportation violated the Charter rights of George Katerberg by preventing him from displaying a political billboard criticizing government officials’ response to Covid. George Katerberg rented a billboard along Highway 17 near Thessalon, Ontario, in March 2024. His billboard displayed photographs of several public officials, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Premier Doug Ford, Dr. Theresa Tam, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, together with the messages, “They knowingly lied about safety and stopping transmission” and “Canadians demand accountability.” Shortly after the billboard was erected, the Ministry ordered that it be removed, alleging that a graphic on the sign was associated with white supremacy. Katerberg submitted a revised version for approval. The Ministry then rejected the revised sign, claiming it “may be seen as promoting hatred or contempt” toward the public officials pictured. After the litigation began, the Ministry reversed course, acknowledged that the revised billboard did not promote hatred, and agreed to reconsider its decision. Rather than approving the sign, however, the Ministry amended its Highway Corridor Management Manual in April 2025, introducing a new policy that effectively prohibited political messaging on billboards while continuing to permit commercial advertising and certain community messaging. The Divisional Court rejected the Ministry’s arguments, finding that political expression on roadside billboards is protected by the Charter and that there was “no rational connection” between banning political messages and the government’s stated objective of maintaining the integrity of bush country highways. 6. A Polish court has ruled in favour of a Canadian embassy employee who was put on leave without pay for refusing mandatory COVID-19 vaccination. Karolina Janiak, a Polish citizen who had worked at the Warsaw embassy since 2005 as a locally engaged member of staff, sued her employer when she was unilaterally placed on leave without pay in 2021 for not complying with the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy. The Canadian embassy unsuccessfully sought to have the lawsuit dismissed on procedural grounds and on merit. The embassy argued it had jurisdictional immunity under international law. A lawyer for the embassy argued before the case began in March 2022 that Janiak was solely responsible for being placed on leave because she chose not to comply with the vaccination policy. The court has ordered the Canadian embassy in Warsaw to pay Janiak over CA$45,000 for remuneration, compensation, leave allowance, and severance pay. The court also ordered an immediately enforceable payment of around $7,300 for accrued vacation pay. The embassy also has to reimburse around $3,700 for Janiak’s legal fees and $4,200 to the State Treasury for unpaid court costs. Janiak suggested the legal costs incurred by Ottawa to fight her claim in court “exceeded by many times the amount of due compensation.” Link↗

7. We The Patriots USA announced this week that they have filed a federal lawsuit in defense of a Turner, Maine parent and his son, who was informed that he could not return to school to start eighth grade this fall because he has not received certain vaccinations required by state law. The family objects to receiving those vaccines on religious grounds. But since Maine abolished the religious exemption for school vaccinations in 2021, the school refused to honor the family’s religious beliefs. With this lawsuit, We The Patriots now have active litigation to win back the religious exemption for school vaccinations in all three circuits where it was abolished by state law: the Ninth (California), the Second (New York and Connecticut), and the First (Maine). They state: “Religious freedom shouldn’t depend on your zip code. Families should never have to choose between their faith and an education for their children.” Link↗

1. Federal public servants are protesting the government’s new return-to-office policy after being required to work from the office at least four days a week, with some arguing the additional commute will increase greenhouse gas emissions. Demonstrations were held Wednesday outside federal offices in Ottawa and other cities as employees rallied against the new return-to-office requirement. The policy has drawn opposition from several of the country’s largest federal public service unions, including the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) and the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE). In an interview, one protester stated, “Is it worth having traffic jams, is it worth having higher emissions, is it worth people just fighting tooth and nail for parking space unnecessarily just to make themselves less productive?” The federal workers are not getting much love in the comment section.

2. Further confirmation why a citizen led initiative, like the NCI, is needed to hold governments to account. The United Kingdom COVID Inquiry has come under renewed criticism following allegations that it failed to publish evidence challenging aspects of the country’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout. Several doctors and medical professionals who were invited to submit evidence to the Inquiry said their witness statements questioning elements of the vaccine program were not published as part of the report on vaccines and therapeutics. Dr. Rosamond Jones, a retired consultant pediatrician and chairperson of the Children’s Covid Vaccines Advisory Council, said the inquiry did not adequately consider viewpoints that differed from its conclusions. Dr Jones said: “I think they asked us as a way to shut us up—I don’t think they really wanted to hear from anyone who had a different view. They just do not want the public to realize there is a body of knowledge and experienced senior professionals in the U.K and countries across the world who have major questions about the safety of the whole technology (mRNA).” The inquiry’s published report on vaccines concluded that the U.K.’s vaccination program was an “extraordinary feat,” praising the rapid development and rollout of approximately 132 million vaccine doses. The report stated that, for the vast majority of people, vaccination protected against the most serious effects of COVID and saved lives. Link↗

3. According to Rebel News, Statistics Canada categorizes perpetrators of crimes based on “expressed” gender rather than biological gender. Their investigation was triggered by Granby Police Service’s appeal for potential victims of Emma Grégoire, who faces multiple charges related to alleged sexual offences involving children, as well as possession and production of child sexual abuse and exploitation material. Throughout the entire police release, the accused was referred to using female pronouns and feminine terminology. Yet buried in the release was revealed that the accused is transgender or biologically male. Rebel News states: “Canadians depend on official statistics to understand who commits crimes, who is victimized and where public-safety risks exist. But statistics are only useful when people clearly understand what is actually being measured. If a biologically male accused can be counted as a female offender solely because that person identifies as a woman, the public deserves to know that when interpreting the data. This is bigger than one criminal case. It is about whether ideology has begun influencing institutions that Canadians depend on to objectively measure reality. Because when definitions change, statistics change. And when statistics stop meaning what ordinary people think they mean, Canadians have every reason to start asking questions. Marty Makary MD, wrote this in February 2023: “What’s most amazing about all the misinformation conveyed by CDC and public health officials is that there have been no apologies for holding on to their recommendations for so long after the data became apparent that they were dead wrong. Public health officials said - “you must” when the correct answer should have been “we’re not sure.” Early on, in the absence of good data, public health officials chose a path of stern paternalism. Today, they are in denial of a mountain of strong studies showing that they were wrong. What I Shared at the National Citizens Inquiry — and Why It Matters Now

During my second appearance before the National Citizens Inquiry in March 2025, I stepped back to examine the broader implications of the COVID response. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in emergency and trauma medicine, I addressed informed consent, medical coercion, the responsibilities of physicians, and the dangers when institutions suppress open scientific debate.

Today, I’ll be reflecting on those themes, sharing my experience from the NCI, and answering your questions.

Artificial genetic modification of crops began in the last century with transgenic techniques that inserted foreign genes called transgenes from one species into another. These transgenic GMOs moved from labs to farm fields in the late 1980s and became a major industry in the mid-1990s. Popular traits included pest resistance (Bt toxin from Bacillus thuringiensis) and herbicide tolerance (Roundup Ready crops).

Governments around the world created rules for these products. The US established its coordinated framework (USDA, FDA, EPA) starting in the 1980s, while the EU introduced even stricter controls. International guidelines came from the OECD in 1986. Years of grassroots activism eventually secured mandatory GMO labeling in Europe by the late 1990s and stronger rules in the United States by 2022.

Importantly, older mutagenic techniques using radiation or chemicals — which deliberately induce thousands of random mutations across the genome — were grouped under “conventional breeding.” These non-transgenic methods avoided GMO regulations, risk assessments, and labeling entirely. They produced many commercial crop varieties that are still eaten today. The upcoming NGT rules heavily rely on this highly questionable precedent to permit almost no meaningful regulatory treatment for certain modern gene-edited plants.

Now a far more powerful technology has arrived: CRISPR. Promoters claim it is cheaper and more accurate than previous methods, and that it can achieve nearly any genetic modification that older transgenic techniques could, only faster and more precisely. Since around 2020, CRISPR has made sophisticated gene editing routine and affordable for laboratories and companies, though it is not without potentially severe risks. This is one of the main developments regulators are using to justify slashing meaningful oversight through the new NGT framework.

The 2026 NGT Regulation

On 17 June 2026, the European Parliament approved the New Genomic Techniques (NGT) Regulation. It was published on 26 June 2026 and will take full effect on 17 July 2028 after a two-year transition.

The law sets up a two-tier system that strongly benefits the producers of a certain category of gene-edited crops:

• NGT-1 plants (limited to no more than 20 genetic modifications using targeted gene-editing): These are deemed comparable to outcomes from conventional breeding or natural mutations. They are exempted from the full GMO authorization process, routine pre-market risk assessment, traceability requirements, long-term monitoring, and mandatory consumer GMO labeling for food and feed given to animals. Seeds must be identified as NGT-1, and approved varieties will appear in a public EU register. However, the resulting foods will generally reach supermarket shelves without labels disclosing the use of gene-editing techniques. This also means significant reductions in the necessary safety trials.

• NGT-2 plants (more complex modifications): These remain subject to the existing strict GMO regulatory framework, including risk assessment, authorization, labeling, and traceability.

• Traditional transgenic GMOs, which insert foreign DNA from distant species or kingdoms, will also continue with the same oversight as before.

Key Definitions and Technical Scope

The regulation states: “NGTs include targeted mutagenesis and cisgenesis, including intragenesis, which introduce genetic modifications without transgenesis, that is without inserting genetic material from non-crossable species.”

• Mutagenesis: The process of inducing random or targeted mutations (changes) in an organism’s DNA.

• Cisgenesis: Transfer of genes from the same species or a closely related/crossable species into the target plant. The gene is taken from a “compatible” source with no foreign DNA from distant organisms.

• Intragenesis: Similar to cisgenesis, but involves rearranging or combining genetic elements (such as promoters or coding sequences) from within the same species or closely related species.

• Transgenesis: Introduction of foreign genes (transgenes) from a different species or even another kingdom into the target organism. This remains the old-school form of genetic modification that still requires full labeling and oversight.

How Different Are These “Crossable” Plants?

The definition of “crossable” (sexually compatible) species is very broad. It includes plants that are dramatically different in appearance and use.

Examples of these “crossable” species include:

• Potato (Solanum tuberosum) and tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)

• Oriental Plane Tree (Platanus orientalis) and American Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis)

• All Brassica species (cabbage, broccoli, kale, mustard, turnip)

• Various Curcuma (turmeric) and other members of the ginger family (Zingiberaceae), such as Curcuma longa, C. petiolata, ginger lilies (Hedychium), shell gingers (Alpinia), torch gingers (Etlingera), and many others that range from small ground-hugging plants to tall showy species.

Look at how different these plants are. Do you think people have a right to know if they are eating genetic chimeras of tomatoes and potatoes, or mixes of cabbage, broccoli, mustard, and kale?

With CRISPR, companies can now modify the genes of virtually anything at liberty, all while enjoying massive profits that are ultimately subsidized by taxpayers who are being poisoned and being subjected to harm across many areas.

Consumers are also facing potential long-term health consequences, including chronic malnutrition or worse. Even small, targeted edits can alter gene regulation, protein function, metabolic pathways, or interactions with the environment and microbiome in ways that may not appear in short-term studies. Since NGT-1 plants face reduced safety trials and no long-term monitoring, the general public will be the test population.

Basic Human Rights Developments Reversed

It took decades of public pressure to win GMO labeling requirements. Now the EU is removing labels for the most common gene-edited foods for three main reasons: CRISPR has made genetic modifications cheap and routine, regulators are using the old unregulated radiation and chemical mutagenesis methods as political cover, and they are once again promising the same benefits (innovation, higher yields, climate resilience) that first-generation GMOs failed to deliver. This is a major step backward that undoes years of hard-earned progress.

Regulators are using the same familiar rhetoric we heard to justify mRNA technology when they promised rapid “innovation,” greater efficiency, and benefits for humanity, all while sidelining transparency and precaution. This simply shows that regulators are serving industry interests instead of protecting the public.

How to Resist and Stay Healthy

Europeans must push back strongly, demanding full labeling, traceability, and major changes to the law before it fully kicks in during mid-2028. People and businesses should choose clearly labeled non-NGT food wherever possible, since any unlabeled foods may have been produced through these methods. The rest of the world should treat European agricultural exports with serious caution and consider boycotts or bans on these products.

The good news is that organic standards still prohibit the use of NGT methods. Now more than ever, sourcing certified organic food is one of the best ways to avoid gene-edited products.

Avoiding unlabeled gene-edited foods can be challenging due to the lack of transparency. However, supporting local producers who are focused on organic crops is one practical step toward improving the quality of your diet and reducing exposure.

Senior U.S. officials reaffirmed that a central bank digital currency will not move forward under the current administration, citing concerns over financial privacy and government control. Meanwhile, the MAHA movement continued to challenge the medical establishment, calling for greater transparency, scientific integrity, and accountability in healthcare.

In Canada, concerns over free expression also took centre stage as MP Roman Baber challenged a federal proposal that could expose Canadians to legal action over alleged online misinformation, renewing debate over government transparency and freedom of speech.

Elsewhere, citizen activism, legal developments, and public accountability continued to demonstrate that determined individuals can still influence the direction of public policy.

1. Mikki Willis writes: “Right now, a law enforcement agency can scan your face in a public space without a warrant. They can read your license plate. They can buy your location history, your browsing records, and your communication patterns from a data broker without a court order. In April, two separate bills landed in Congress from very different directions. Thomas Massie and Lauren Boebert introduced the Surveillance Accountability Act, requiring warrants for facial recognition, license plate reader access, and all government data broker purchases. The same month, Mike Lee and Ron Wyden introduced the Government Surveillance Reform Act. Mike Lee is one of the most conservative senators in the chamber. Ron Wyden is one of the most liberal. Both bills require the same thing. A warrant, supported by probable cause, before the government accesses any of these tools. When the libertarian right and the civil liberties left land in the same place, that is usually a signal worth paying attention to. What they’re both responding to is a government surveillance apparatus that has been quietly built over the past two decades. Not through dramatic legislation. Through small decisions. One incremental step at a time. Until one day you realize your face, your car, and your browsing history are all being tracked in real time... And the Fourth Amendment was never consulted.”

2. Tamara Lich wrote this week: “On Saturday, I was invited to the official residence of the American ambassador to Canada to celebrate 250 years of American independence. What a change from how I was treated in Ottawa during the trucker convoy — arrested, jailed and prosecuted just for peacefully protesting against the Liberal government. I even had a few minutes to speak with the ambassador himself and to thank him personally for the support he and so many Americans showed during the Freedom Convoy. 3. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Mike Selig declared on July 8 that the United States will not launch a central bank digital currency (CBDC), pointing to two formal instruments blocking its development: an executive order President Trump signed on Jan. 25, 2025, one week into his term, and a policy report from the president’s Working Group on Digital Asset Markets, on which Selig serves. Selig said the prior administration had actively pursued a digital dollar and that the current administration had to reverse those efforts upon taking office. The CFTC chairman framed his opposition around what he called the danger a CBDC poses to everyday Americans, specifically the risk of government monitoring and censorship of individual financial transactions. The working group report states it is official administration policy to prevent a CBDC from coming to fruition. “Under our watch, there will never be a US CBDC,” Selig wrote on X. Link↗

4. Civil liberties critic Roman Baber is blasting the Liberal government over a proposal that could see Canadians hit with lawsuits for allegedly spreading “misinformation,” calling it a direct threat to free expression.

   

   Baber is referring to a Mar. 31 memo that says the government would monitor for “false or misleading information,” with officials assessing whether posts are inaccurate or out of context before seeking senior approval for punitive action. “This will enable the department to proactively address false and misleading information,” said the document. MP Baber called on Industry Minister Mélanie Joly to release an unredacted copy of the memo in the interest of transparency. “I also ask that you publicly reject the strategy proposed in the memo.” “Many law-abiding Canadians seek confirmation that the Liberal Government will not put them in legal jeopardy for exercising their right to free speech.” Blacklock’s Reporter obtained a heavily redacted copy of the memo showing the Industry Department is considering legal action against social media users accused of spreading “false and misleading information,” though it provides no details on what that action would entail. This contrasts with the Liberal Party’s earlier stance that “the rights and freedoms that individuals have offline must also be protected online.” The memo acknowledges pushback from critics, suggesting the proposal, if implemented, could backfire.

Legal

1. The Democracy Fund announced that two charges of obstructing a peace officer against a Toronto-based Charter auditor and police auditor were withdrawn by the Crown. The client was charged following an incident in which he was peacefully filming police activity while standing on public property outside a Toronto police station in February 2025. Following multiple Crown pre-trials and court appearances, TDF lawyers successfully secured the withdrawal of these two charges. However, the client continues to face one outstanding charge of criminal harassment under section 264 of the Criminal Code. This remaining charge stems from similar events, including recording police on public property. TDF remains committed to defending the client’s right to free expression and will continue to represent him as the matter proceeds. Link↗

2. A proposed settlement has been reached with some of the meat companies accused of conspiring to fix the price of beef for Canadian consumers. A statement from multiple Canadian law firms issued Thursday said JBS USA Company, Swift Beef Company, JBS Packerland Inc., and JBS Canada ULC have agreed to pay $7.49 million, while National Beef will pay $495,000. The class-action lawsuit against multiple major corporations in the meat industry was filed in 2022. In his decision to certify the class-action last year, B.C. Supreme Court Justice Michael Thomas said the companies were accused of conspiring with each other to “fix, maintain, increase or control the price of beef as well as fix, maintain, control, prevent or lessen the production or supply of beef” to influence the price. Citizen Action

1. Last week, Mexico’s Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (CRT) announced a staggered extension for citizens to register their mobile phone lines with their identification. This controversial requirement has received pushback and resistance from the Mexican population, many of whom question how their data will be stored and used. According to the announcement, prepaid phone lines that have not yet been linked to an identity will now have until between August and December to complete the process. The new policy states that after the deadline expires, telephone companies will suspend service to non-compliant lines within 72 hours. “For the safety of all, every telephone number must be registered in the name of one person, in order to eliminate the anonymity that has allowed crime such as fraud or extortion,” “With this measure, Mexico will cease to be one of the few countries that allowed the acquisition of a SIM card without identification, and will join the international practice currently in place in 166 countries.” With the extension of the deadline, the Mexican government and telecom companies are hoping extra time is all that will be necessary to convince more than 50 million people to comply with the mandate. This may prove more challenging than they anticipated in a country well known for mistrust of official institutions. Link↗

2. A marathon public comment period at Thursday’s Metropolitan Planning Commission meeting became a decisive referendum on data centers in Nashville, Tennessee with more than 150 members of the public denouncing a pair of planned data center projects. Despite temperatures in the 90s, people waited as much as five hours for their chance to address the commission, which allowed everyone who chose to stick it out two minutes to speak. Vice Chair Jessica Farr said it was an “unprecedented” crowd before the speakers addressed the commission, citing some combination of noise, heat generation, water consumption, water contamination, air pollution, electricity consumption or public health concerns. Comments started ardently, with the very first speaker threatening the removal of every elected official in the country who supports data centers. Many speakers noted it was their first time coming to a public meeting to discuss any policy. Link↗

Telling It Like It Is / Truth Bombs

1. Toby Rogers wrote in his substack this week: “If airplanes had the same safety record as vaccines, no one would fly. If cars had the same safety record as vaccines, no one would drive. However, because vaccines are inflicted on infants who cannot speak, authorities do nothing and celebrate the harms. Absolutely diabolical.”

2. A truth bomb Opinion in Epoch Times: “On June 12, 2026, the eyes of the nation were fixed on a stadium in Toronto where Canada met Bosnia in a soccer game; the result was a 1-1 tie. Great was the rejoicing in the tents of Canadian fans of the sport. Never before had Canada gained a point in a World Cup tournament! The CBC reported that it “should be a point of pride for Canada ... a huge confidence booster for the co-hosts.” Colour me unimpressed. Celebrating a tie against a nation of three million ranked 65th in the FIFA rankings seems to be setting the bar at a very low height. The problem is not soccer. The problem is that lowering the bar has become a habit across Canadian institutions. Consider the case of recruiting to the Canadian Armed Forces. Witness the fruit of lowered standards in our educational system. Canadian indifference to excellence is also built into the criteria for Canada Research Chairs and university professorships. Many of these positions now specifically bar healthy, white, heterosexual males from even applying, reserving them for “women, 2SLGBTQIA+ people, Indigenous peoples, racialized persons, and persons with disabilities.” This is regrettable for two reasons. Firstly, it assumes with soft bigotry that professionals from these groups could not compete in an open market and leaves them open forever after to the condescending stigma of the “diversity hire.” Secondly, by cutting the recruiting pool in half, we have dramatically reduced the chances of finding the best-qualified candidate. In the 21st century, if we don’t want other countries—more ambitious, harder-working, and better educated—to eat our lunch, that has got to change.” Link↗

3. Drea Humphrey of Rebel News writes: “There’s another B.C. band that made nearly identical claims (to the Kamloops band), collected millions in taxpayer dollars for it, and then went completely silent. Nearly a year ago, the Sechelt band announced it had identified an additional 41 “unmarked graves” at the former St. Augustine’s Residential School, bringing its claimed total to 81. Chief Lenora Joe said the Nation was “saddened by the findings.” So I started asking the obvious question: if 81 graves were found, where are the bodies? A discovery this big surely warrants an investigation. But the band wouldn’t answer me. Neither would the RCMP. And the B.C. Coroners Service, the office you’d expect to be all over the alleged discovery of nearly 100 missing children, confirmed that it has not been involved in any investigation at all. What I did find is where the money went, and why nobody seems in any hurry to put a shovel in the ground. Federal records show the band has received roughly $2.7 million through the Residential Schools Missing Children Community Support Fund, and its site was eligible for up to another $475,000 in provincial funding. Strangely, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation lists zero missing children tied to that school. Yet Chief Joe insists elders’ oral accounts are sufficient evidence, calling science “just a small supporting piece.” Click here for my full report.”

4. Conservative MP Dean Allison said this week that since announcing an inquiry into reports from Canadians who say they were injured by COVID-19 vaccines, hundreds of people have come forward to share their experiences. Allison told reporters that he wanted to promote compassion both for Canadians who suffered from COVID-19 or suffered from a COVID-19 vaccine injury. “This is not about relitigating every decision made during the unprecedented public health crisis,” he said. “It’s not about assigning blame. It’s about listening. It’s about learning.” A commenter posted the following in response: “Unless this inquiry results in concrete action to identify the government’s responsibility in this fiasco, assign blame and start the path toward justice for all the dead and injured, it’s basically just a focus group session.” The article went on to say: A citizen-led inquiry into Canada’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic also heard from vaccine-injured Canadians in 2023. The inquiry’s final report recommended that information related to institutions’ actions during the pandemic should be made publicly available, independent audits should be conducted, and institutions should “face criminal and civil penalties for their actions,” if appropriate.” Link↗

5. In a bit of irony this week, Prime Minister Carney is unable to accept a gift from Turkish President Erdoğan during this week’s NATO summit. Erdoğan gave personalized engraved pistols to NATO leaders, but Carney can’t accept the gift due to Liberal Bill C-21, which received royal assent in December 2023. The bill known as “the handgun freeze,” makes it illegal to transfer handguns within Canada and to bring new handguns into Canada. Anyone possessing a prohibited or restricted firearm without a required license is committing an offence in the Criminal Code of Canada. The Prime Minister’s Office said Carney immediately turned over the revolver engraved with his name to the RCMP to be “deactivated.”

6. The Crown’s appeal in the case of Freedom Convoy leaders Tamara Lich and Chris Barber—covering aspects of the sentencing and acquittals on certain charges—is expected to be heard in spring 2027. Lich said in a June 30 Facebook post that her sentence will be served on Jan. 21, 2027, “and then it’ll be back to court to start this process all over again.” Lich added that by the time her case is over, “if it ever truly is,” her prosecution will have cost Ontario taxpayers around $15 million. Lich also said the prosecution is continuing to request seven years of jail time for Lich and eight years for Barber, and that the two be found guilty of intimidation for their role in the protest. Lich said she was put through the “longest mischief trial” in Canada’s history for her role in the “most peaceful and polite protest of all time.” Link↗

7. Parks Canada is facing criticism after an internal report described national parks as a “colonial injustice,” with critics arguing Canadians should instead be proud of them. The Parks Canada report titled ‘Evaluation Of The Indigenous Guardians Initiative Internal Review’ states national parks displaced Indigenous people and barred them from traditional lands. It was quietly released Jun. 22, according to Blacklock’s Reporter. Management admitted to withholding the unsigned report for two years. Conservative heritage critic Rachael Thomas called the designation “insane” in a post on X Thursday. “Instead of celebrating Canada’s natural beauty and history, Parks Canada is reviewing heritage sites through an ideological lens,” Thomas said, adding that Canadians are “proud” of the country’s national parks and historic sites. “They should be protected, preserved, and celebrated, not treated as something to be ashamed of.”

• 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil

• 2 tablespoons non-nano zinc oxide powder

• 1 tablespoon red raspberry seed oil

• (Optional) 10 drops essential oil of your choice

Instructions

1. Whip the virgin coconut oil in a mixer or food processor until light and fluffy.

2. Carefully add the non-nano zinc oxide powder, taking care not to inhale the powder.

3. Add the red raspberry seed oil and, if using, the essential oils.

4. Blend until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

5. Transfer the finished mixture into a clean, airtight container for storage.

• Avoid inhaling zinc oxide powder while mixing.

• Store in a cool place. If the coconut oil melts in hot weather, stir or briefly refrigerate before use.

This constant maintenance is essential for staying healthy. When it works well, you maintain youthful tissues, control inflammation, support immune function, and lower the risk of chronic disease. When it falters, damaged cells accumulate, inflammation rises, and resilience slowly declines.

More people are becoming aware of autophagy — the fasting-enhanced process by which cells recycle their own worn-out internal components. But autophagy is only one member of the body’s sophisticated cellular housekeeping system.

Today, we are exploring what happens when an entire cell reaches the end of its useful life.

When a Cell Has Become a Burden

Healthy tissues require a careful balance: building new cells while removing old or damaged ones.

Cells can become dysfunctional through normal aging, DNA damage, toxins, infections, oxidative stress, or simply years of wear and tear. Rather than letting these cells linger and cause harm, the body has evolved elegant systems to honorably discharge them.

The ideal outcome is apoptosis — programmed cell death.

Apoptosis is calm and controlled. The cell quietly dismantles itself in an orderly fashion: its DNA is broken down, the cell shrinks into small membrane-bound fragments, and nearby cells or specialized immune cells clean up the remains with remarkably little inflammation.

It is like a carefully planned demolition in which reusable materials are salvaged and the site is left clean.

Vital for maintaining healthy tissue, this process occurs continuously throughout life to renew the body and repair from harm.

What Happens When Cells Refuse Apoptosis?

Not every damaged cell follows this ideal path. Some enter a state called cellular senescence.

These cells stop dividing but don’t die. They remain metabolically active while contributing little to the tissue. Because they resist apoptosis, researchers often call them “zombie cells.”

Making matters worse, senescent cells progressively, and to varying degrees, secrete toxic substances. This has earned them the name “Senescence-Associated Secretory Phenotype” (SASP). The biologically active molecules they secrete include:

• Pro-inflammatory cytokines (e.g., IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α)

• Chemokines (which recruit immune cells)

• Growth factors (e.g., IGFBPs, VEGF)

• Proteases (e.g., matrix metalloproteinases, or MMPs, which remodel the extracellular matrix)

• Other factors such as bioactive lipids, exosomes/microvesicles containing miRNAs, DNA fragments, and more

These molecules can:

• Damage neighboring healthy cells

• Promote chronic inflammation

• Impair tissue repair

• Accelerate biological aging

• Contribute to many age-related diseases

In small numbers, senescence can be protective — helping prevent cancer or aid wound healing. The problem arises when these cells accumulate faster than the body can clear them.

Your Immune System Is the Cleanup Crew

Fortunately, apoptosis isn’t the only defense.

Your immune system constantly patrols for abnormal or senescent cells. Natural killer cells, macrophages, and T cells recognize dysfunctional cells and remove them.

In youth, this surveillance system works remarkably well. With age, chronic illness, poor lifestyle, and persistent inflammation, it weakens. More zombie cells survive. More inflammation builds. The cycle accelerates.

This is one reason chronic inflammation rises with age — and why healthy cellular turnover is increasingly viewed as a foundation of longevity.

Autophagy, Apoptosis, and Senescence

These terms are important to know:

• Autophagy recycles damaged components inside a living cell.

• Apoptosis removes an entire damaged cell in an orderly way.

• Senescence is when a damaged cell refuses to die and instead lingers, waiting to be cleared by the immune system.

Ideally, damaged cells undergo apoptosis before becoming senescent. Supporting healthy apoptosis helps prevent the buildup of inflammatory zombie cells.

Practical Ways to Support Healthy Cellular Renewal

While pharmaceutical senolytics are being studied, the strongest evidence today points to simple lifestyle practices that support your body’s natural systems — and improve health in many other ways:

Exercise
Regular physical activity is one of the most powerful interventions. It reduces oxidative stress, improves mitochondrial function, enhances immune surveillance, lowers chronic inflammation, and promotes healthy cellular turnover. Both aerobic and resistance training help.

Nutrition
A nutrient-dense, anti-inflammatory diet reduces the cellular damage that leads to senescence. Focus on polyphenol-rich foods such as berries, onions, apples, leafy greens, olive oil, green tea, and colorful vegetables. Optimized vitamin D, omega-3 fats, zinc, fiber, and a healthy gut microbiome also support balanced immune function.

Periods of Fasting
Intermittent fasting and time-restricted eating have attracted strong scientific interest. They activate autophagy, improve metabolic flexibility, reduce oxidative stress, and enhance immune function. While not appropriate for everyone, many people benefit from a 10–12 hour or shorter daily eating window. Start gradually and personalize.

Sleep and Stress Management
Poor sleep and chronic stress promote inflammation and impair immune surveillance. Consistent restorative sleep and stress reduction support the body’s ability to repair and maintain effective cellular cleanup.

Small Choices, Big Outcomes

These processes happen silently. You don’t feel apoptosis or autophagy at work. Yet they constantly shape your long-term health.

Every walk, nutritious meal, good night’s sleep, and moment of reduced stress helps tip the balance toward healthy renewal rather than accumulation of dysfunctional cells.

The goal isn’t just living longer — it’s preserving well-functioning tissues for as many years as possible for a better quality of life.

Our bodies already have extraordinary repair systems. Our goal should be to create the conditions that allow them to work as designed.

1. The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld bans on “transgender” individuals competing on sports teams for the opposite sex. Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote the majority opinion. “The question is whether Title IX permits schools to maintain women’s and girls’ sports for biological females. The answer is yes,” Justice Kavanaugh wrote. The history of Title IX and a subsequent amendment applying to sports makes clear that federal law allows for limits on gender-confused men competing against women. “The Title IX regulations allowed separate sports teams precisely because of the biological differences between the sexes — namely, the inherent physical differences between biological women and biological men,” the majority opinion stated. “Allowing a biological male athlete to compete on a girls’ team necessarily displaces or disadvantages a female athlete — replacing her on the roster, knocking her out of the starting lineup, reducing her playing time, depriving her of a medal, and the like,” Kavanaugh wrote. “That hard reality of sports cannot be ignored or swept under the rug.” Link↗

2. The Alliance for Defending Freedom responded to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling: “Just last week, we celebrated the 54th anniversary of Title IX, the federal law that secured equal opportunities for girls in education and athletics. This is a monumental victory for girls everywhere—and a crucial step toward defeating gender ideology nationwide. As Justice Thomas explained in his concurrence, “A man does not have a legal right to compete against women just because he believes that he is a woman.” The Court’s decision frees states to pass laws that keep boys out of girls’ sports—upholding safety, fairness, and basic common sense for female athletes. Twenty-seven states already have such laws ... meaning girls can compete on a fair playing field in more than half the country. For the better part of a decade, the lie that men can become women has been permeating our culture—and girls always pay the price for it. Nationwide, hundreds of girls have lost championships and opportunities to compete. They have been forced to share their most private spaces with males. Some women have been injured by males in their sports. Others have been harassed—and even sexually assaulted. Today is the beginning of the end of this harm—thanks to the steadfast support of our Ministry Friends. Their support carried these cases all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, leading to a generation-defining victory for girls across the country.” Link↗

3. A former Rutgers University employee who challenged the institution’s flu vaccine mandate on religious grounds and was subsequently fired can challenge her termination under binding arbitration, according to a ruling last week by a New Jersey appeals court. Rosemary Herrschaft worked as a secretary at Rutgers’ John H. Cronin Dental Center. In 2023, she requested a religious exemption from the university’s flu vaccine mandate. Rutgers rejected the request and ordered Herrschaft to get vaccinated. In March 2024, the university fired her after she refused to comply. Herrschaft’s union, Teamsters Local 97, filed a grievance on her behalf, seeking binding arbitration under the terms of its collective negotiation agreement (CNA) with Rutgers. The university alleged arbitration would impede its “managerial authority” to enforce its vaccination policy. Last year, the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission ruled in Herrschaft’s favor. Rutgers challenged the decision, but last week’s ruling by the Superior Court of New Jersey Appellate Division rejected the university’s appeal. Link↗

4. Feds for Freedom is supporting a lawsuit against the Central Intelligence Agency for investigating thousands of personnel and contractors for not receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. In 2021, then-President Joe Biden imposed COVID-19 vaccine mandates for federal employees and contractors. Shortly after, the CIA’s chief operating officer directed the CIA’s Counter Espionage Department to investigate all unvaccinated contractors and workers within the agency. “Any employee or contractor who refused the vaccine was treated by the Agency as a threat to the United States government and ordered to be investigated as the same,” the suit states. James Erdman III, one of the unvaccinated employees, formally asked the CIA to remove all material from the investigations and information in employee files that stemmed from the probes, lawyers representing unvaccinated CIA employees said. The agency never responded, leading to the lawsuit. While none of the workers affected by the investigations have been fired, “The fact that the investigation occurred in the first instance, and the fact that there has been no assurances that anything stemming from that investigation has been essentially wiped clean, it does, unfortunately, set conditions—precedent—for where if there is any reason or need to investigate any of these individuals at any future date, this could be used as a basis to do so,” Carol Thompson, one of the lawyers representing the officers. “These officers were targeted solely for their vaccination status. That is unacceptable. We are seeking justice in federal court to protect their rights and ensure our government upholds the rule of law.” Link↗

5. 17 states have alleged that three major U.S. egg producers colluded to manipulate egg prices between 2022 and 2025, driving wholesale egg prices to unaffordable levels. The producers agreed to settle for $3.3 million and donate 53 million eggs on top of that.

6. A 23-year-old mother has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of her twin toddlers. Payette Police arrested Andrea Shaw on Tuesday afternoon, more than a year after her two children — fraternal twins Dallas and Tyson Shaw — were found dead at their home eight days after receiving their 18-month vaccines. Shaw alleges that her twins’ deaths were caused by the vaccines they received at a routine doctor’s appointment. She is one of five plaintiffs — along with two other mothers, two physicians and Children’s Health Defense (CHD) — in a lawsuit against the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). The lawsuit accuses the AAP of running a decades-long racketeering scheme to defraud American families about the safety of the childhood vaccine schedule. Attorney Rick Jaffe, counsel of record for Shaw on two civil matters related to the deaths of her children, including the AAP lawsuit, said he believes “the criminal investigation and now the indictment is the natural consequence of the institutional vaccine program that refuses to admit vaccination carries any risk to infants.” Jaffe added, “Andrea’s indictment makes all the more urgent that the public health authorities acknowledge and address the harm that vaccination is causing to some infants, rather than just shifting the blame to the parent.” According to Andrea, she and her mother-in-law say they warned the twins’ pediatrician that there was a family history of adverse reactions to the flu shot. However, the pediatrician dismissed these concerns. Nurses administered the flu vaccine along with hepatitis A and DTaP shots on April 23, 2025. Within hours, Andrea said the toddlers became lethargic and ill. A week later, on the morning of May 1, Andrea found both children unresponsive. Police and paramedics were called, and investigators immediately focused on the parents. Andrea said that the police immediately treated them as suspects. Jaffe said, “When the governing dogma holds that vaccines cannot cause serious harm, the only explanation left standing is the mother and homicide.” Link↗

1. Newfoundland’s premier is reversing a policy denying parents access to their children’s medical records under a new health information system, marking a win for parents and parental rights advocates. “We will ensure the law supports parents and guardians while protecting the best interests of children and youth,” said Conservative Premier Tony Wakeham. Concerned parent Sarah James Furlong took to social media urging parents to contact Health Minister Lela Evans to reverse the policy. “I respect children’s rights and understand the importance of privacy,” Furlong said in a Facebook post. “However, I believe parents have a fundamental responsibility to protect, support, and advocate for their children—and that responsibility doesn’t end when a child turns 12.” “A 12-year-old is still a child,” she continues. Wakeham acknowledged the “significant confusion and concern” over parental access to children’s medical records. “I want to be categorical,” he said. “Parents are the primary protectors of their children. 2. A Saskatchewan mother is stepping up to champion the rights of girls in school washrooms, rights of privacy, security and dignity that our government is systematically and intentionally stripping away. Tawney Johnson, of Lampman Saskatchewan, is demanding that the South East Cornerstone Public School Division immediately safeguard female students’ fundamental rights under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. With the support of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), Johnson has sent a formal letter of demand urging the board to restore sex-segregated washrooms and change rooms at Lampman School, citing clear violations of the girls’ privacy, security, and equality. This issue started with a 17-year-old biological male student who identifies as transgender and, as such, has been permitted use of female-only washrooms and facilities. Johnson described the situation bluntly, saying “It is an invasion of girls’ privacy and is causing immense mental harms.” She insists girls should not have to endure a full school day fearful that biological male students will be in the washroom with them. JCCF lawyer Allison Pejovic reinforced the foundation of their argument, stating that “Schools are expected to provide safe environments for their students.” Their letter argues that the board’s policy contravenes subsection 12(2) of Saskatchewan’s Human Rights Code which explicitly permits sex-segregated washrooms and change rooms on the grounds of public decency. Even more critically, it contends that allowing biological males into female-designated facilities infringes upon female students’ Charter rights to security of the person (section 7), unreasonable search or seizure and privacy (section 8), and equality (section 15). Bike thieves are being hunted down by a man dubbed the “Batman of Lagos de Moreno.” He’s been taking justice into his own hands by taping suspects to lampposts and parking the stolen ride beside them. He’s rounded up 5 crooks in the last 10 days and may capture more unless authorities stop him first. Maybe politicians should take a few pointers from this guy on developing a “tough on crime” mindset.

   

4. The City of Regina, as a result of public backlash, has backed down on its approval of amplified broadcasts of the Islamic Adhan (call to prayer) in downtown Regina—audible for over a kilometre radius, with zero public consultation. The mosque is now claiming it has been targeted by ‘threats’, and the Regina Police Service has wasted no time issuing a public statement and providing the mosque with extra protection while touting “hate crimes” under the new legislation (Bill C-9). The mosque appears to have created a problem and is now using the victim card, crying “Islamophobia” to suppress legitimate opposition from local residents. Voicing concerns in a democracy is not hate—it is the exercise of free speech and the right to protect ‘our’ Constitutionally enshrined Christian heritage and culture. Telling It Like It Is / Truth Bombs

1. In April 2025, a paper landed in the International Journal of Risk & Safety in Medicine that should have triggered emergency congressional hearings, front-page headlines, and a complete re-evaluation of every public health decision made since late 2020. Instead, it was memory-holed with the efficiency we’ve all come to expect. Okoro, Ikoba, and colleagues did something almost too obvious to be radical: they simply compared COVID-19 deaths in the pre-vaccine period against the vaccination period —using the WHO’s own data— and asked what happened. Here’s what happened:

• Africa: 43.3% increase in COVID deaths with vaccination

• Eastern Mediterranean: 350.9% increase

• South-East Asia: 403.7% increase

• Europe: 496.5% increase

• Americas: 705.9% increase

• Western Pacific: 1,275.0% increase

  
  The Western Pacific region —Australia, Japan, South Korea, countries with advanced healthcare systems and very high vaccination uptake— saw COVID deaths multiply by nearly 13-fold after the vaccines were deployed. The study’s authors call this finding “paradoxical,” which is polite academic-speak for “the exact opposite of what we were promised.” The regions with the lowest vaccination rates —Africa at 3.8% of global cumulative deaths pre-vaccines, the Western Pacific at 1.5%— were essentially untouched by COVID mortality before the shots arrived. Meanwhile, the Americas and Europe, with their aggressive vaccination campaigns, accounted for over 70% of global COVID deaths despite their high vaccination coverage. This isn’t a paradox. It’s a pattern. And patterns demand explanations.

2. Duty to Disobey, a CHD film, launched this week. The film exposes the U.S. Government’s mistreatment of service members who refused the Covid vaccine. Under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 92, service members must obey lawful orders. Failure to obey such orders can lead to serious punishment, including court-martial. But there is a key qualifier: the order must be lawful. If an order is manifestly illegal, service members not only may refuse it — they have a duty to do so. Duty to Disobey eloquently exposes how our government failed the men and women in the military – brave souls to whom we owe the utmost respect. The film calls for more than just an apology. It demands accountability.

4. A comment on the ending of the COVID-19 emergency use authorizations: “For those of us who thought the COVID-19 pandemic was over years ago, we were wrong. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced this week that Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has signed determinations terminating the COVID-19 Emergency Use Authorization declarations. The move came after HHS determined that the circumstances justifying those emergency authorizations no longer exist. This change won’t go into effect until next year, though, because those who were profiting from these EUAs need to wind down their operations. Here’s how RFK Jr. explained the decision: “Americans deserve a regulatory system that is transparent, accountable, and rooted in the rule of law. By ending these COVID-19 Emergency Use Authorization declarations, we’re reinforcing public confidence that emergency authorities are temporary and targeted.” Public confidence? It’s a little too late for that. Why? Because over a million unreported deaths and injuries were caused by the COVID vaccines rolled out under these Emergency Use Authorizations. The public was lied to about many aspects of COVID. Vaccine providers and health agencies were given a free pass to keep risks such as myocarditis hidden from the public. Federal employees were mandated to get vaccinated, with certain employees being investigated for espionage for choosing not to. On top of this, the government admitted to over-counting COVID deaths, which could be viewed as a scare tactic to coerce as well as profit. At the end of the day, the emergency powers that paved the way for the rapid rollout of COVID vaccines are finally coming to an end, but the products themselves have already moved beyond that. Pfizer and Moderna’s mRNA vaccines already have full FDA approval, so they aren’t dependent on emergency authorization anymore. So, no, ending the COVID Emergency Use Authorization declarations six years later isn’t going to magically restore the public’s confidence. More importantly, how has it been allowed to go on for this long in the first place?”

5. The BC NDP is being called out online for producing an advertisement against hate crimes. In the video ad posted by BC’s publicly funded “Reliance BC,” several minority groups including the disabled, Muslims, and Lesbians are shown as victims of hate crimes taking place. All of those depicted as committing the hate crimes are white. This is entirely at odds with published cases of hate offence charges in BC. Two of three of those charged with hate-related offences were not white. Resilience BC did not respond to requests for comment when asked why they depicted only white actors committing hate crimes despite hate crimes often being committed by immigrants and other people from various ethnic backgrounds. The group also did not respond to requests on how much public funds were used to create that video. Since its launch, the group has received an estimated $3.24 million. Commentators online are calling out the ad for promoting hatred against white people.

8. Project Confederation writes: Every July 1st, Canadians are encouraged to reflect on what it means to live in a federation that stretches across a vast and diverse country. From the beginning, Canada was built on a foundational idea - unity does not require uniformity. It is a country made up of provinces with different histories, economies, and priorities, brought together under a constitutional framework that divides responsibilities between federal and provincial governments. At its best, that system allows Canada to do something remarkable. It allows regions to remain distinct while still cooperating on shared goals. It allows local decision-making within provinces, alongside national coordination where it is needed. But that balance depends on governments respecting the roles and limits set out in the Constitution. When those boundaries are clear and respected, Canada functions as a true federation. When they are blurred or ignored, frustration builds - and confidence in the system begins to erode. In recent years, questions about the future of the federation have become more prominent across the country. A country does not strengthen itself by ignoring the conditions that create tension within it. And it does not maintain unity simply by insisting on it. It maintains unity by ensuring the system works in practice. That means a federal government that respects its constitutional jurisdiction. It means provinces that are able to govern their own affairs without unnecessary interference. And it means a shared commitment to the idea that Canada works best when each order of government does what it was designed to do. Because regardless of the political debates of the moment, the underlying question remains the same - can Canada’s constitutional system still deliver the balance it was designed to achieve? Over time, we have seen increasing centralization of decision-making in Ottawa, alongside growing frustration in the provinces over how federal power is exercised. We have also seen how quickly constitutional tensions can escalate when regions feel their jurisdiction is being overlooked or overridden. These are the conditions that shape whether Canadians feel their federation is working for them. Canada Day is not just about celebrating what Canada is - it is also about reflecting on what it needs to function properly in the years ahead. A strong Canada is not one where every province is the same. It is one where differences are respected within a clear and stable constitutional framework. If Canada is to remain strong and united, it will not be because disagreements disappear. It will be because the system is strong enough to manage them.

Every day, your body is constantly repairing and renewing itself. One of its most important maintenance processes is autophagy (literally “self-eating”) a cellular housekeeping system that identifies damaged or worn-out components, breaks them down, and recycles their building blocks for future use.

By clearing dysfunctional proteins, damaged mitochondria, and other cellular debris, autophagy helps maintain healthy tissues, supports immune function, and promotes long-term cellular resilience. As we age or face chronic stress, inflammation, and toxin exposure, this cleanup process becomes increasingly vital.

One of autophagy’s key roles is removing abnormal or misfolded proteins that can interfere with normal cellular function and contribute to inflammation and oxidative stress. Researchers have explored whether autophagy may also help process intracellular proteins, including the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein produced after infection or “vaccination”. While this remains an active area of research, supporting healthy autophagy is widely recognized as beneficial for overall cellular health and makes mechanistic sense.

How to Support Autophagy

The most well-studied way to activate autophagy is intermittent fasting. When insulin levels drop during periods without food, the body shifts from using incoming nutrients to recycling older cellular components.

A common and sustainable approach is time-restricted eating — consuming all meals within a 6–10 hour window (for example, eating between 12 pm and 8 pm). Beginners often start with a 10–12 hour window and gradually shorten it as tolerated.

Other evidence-based practices that may support autophagy include:

• Adequate high-quality sleep

• Periods of lower protein intake

• Sauna use and cold exposure

• Consumption of polyphenol-rich foods (berries, green tea, coffee, etc.)

It is generally best to begin with gentler time-restricted eating windows and progress to extended fasts after patient preparation.

Political

1. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, when asked about a school’s decision to fly a Pride flag in place of the national flag during the month of June, says - “When I’m prime minister, we will fly the Canadian flag everywhere and always. We should never take down the Canadian flag for any reason. We have to be united now more than ever.” The question referenced a decision by Trillium Woods Elementary School in Barrie, Ont., to take down its Canadian flag in early June and replace it with a pride flag in celebration of Pride month. Poilievre said all Canadians should be treated equally, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, “or any other irrelevant characteristic.” It’s time to stop tearing down statues, taking down flags. It’s time to do the opposite,” Poilievre said.

2. The US Senate has subpoenaed Dr. Anthony Fauci following the release of documents that critics said showed the former head of the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases provided misleading testimony to lawmakers. Sen. Rand Paul asked Fauci to voluntarily testify to the panel he chairs, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, but Fauci declined. “Therefore, today I have issued a subpoena requiring him to testify before the Committee, in public, next month,” Paul said. Tulsi Gabbard, who released the new files on her last day as director of national intelligence, said in a statement that “politicized self-serving leaders like Dr. Fauci covered up their own wrongdoing and abuses of power, manipulated intelligence, lied to Congress, and undermined a duly elected President by restricting his access to vital facts needed to keep the country safe.” Link↗

Medicine / Health

1. A special parliamentary committee is recommending that the federal government permanently bar people whose only underlying condition is mental illness from accessing medical assistance in dying. In a report tabled in the House of Commons on Wednesday, the Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying urged the government to amend the Criminal Code to add the exclusion, arriving on the tenth anniversary of MAID’s legalization in Canada. Without action from Parliament, MAID eligibility is currently set to expand to those whose sole condition is a mental disorder on March 17th, 2027. The committee pointed to a continued divergence of views and to testimony that doctors cannot reliably predict whether someone will recover or distinguish a MAID request from suicidality. Conservative MP Tamara Jansen said the recommendation would “save thousands of lives”, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health also backed it.

2. The federal government has tabled new legislation aimed at ensuring clean drinking water in First Nations communities, backed by $4.6 billion over five years. Indigenous Services Minister Mandy Gull-Masty introduced Bill C-37 in the House of Commons on Tuesday, describing the funding as the single largest commitment ever made to First Nations water protection and the first such attempt by Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government. The bill has drawn criticism for softening the language of an earlier version: where the previous version affirmed a “human right” to clean water, the new bill commits only to “progressive realization”.

   The federal Vaccine Injury Support Program received ~3,500 claims; 3,000 were accepted, but only 252 people received compensation.

   
   The program spent two-thirds of its funding (~$36M of $54M) on administration/overhead rather than direct aid to victims.

3. A major study involving more than 470,000 participants has found that using sunscreen correlated with massively increased risk of three major types of skin cancer. According to the UK Biobank study, frequent sunscreen users faced a 292% higher risk of invasive melanoma, a 140% higher risk of basal cell carcinoma, and a 126% higher risk of squamous cell carcinoma. Legal

1. The Federal Trade Commission, along with the attorneys general of Alaska, Iowa, Nebraska, and Texas, filed a lawsuit against the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). The complaint alleges the organization made deceptive claims regarding pediatric medical transition services, misleading parents and children about their safety and necessity. The FTC claims that WPATH provided a means for medical providers to make unsubstantiated claims to parents regarding puberty blockers, hormones, and sex-change surgeries . The suit alleges these guidelines were crafted to ensure insurance coverage, generating profits for the association’s members. The lawsuit cites international literature reviews and a report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, alleging WPATH downplayed severe risks and misrepresented the medical consensus and scientific evidence surrounding these treatments. The FTC has also launched investigations into other major medical organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Endocrine Society, over their clinical guidelines on gender-affirming care. 2. Merck & Co has agreed to pay $50 million to settle more than 200 lawsuits brought against the drug giant by patients suffering from autoimmune disorders after receiving the Gardasil vaccine. According to Merck, this settlement resolves all but one of the pending lawsuits filed against its HPV vaccine. Gardasil was fast-tracked to licensure by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2006 and first recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to be given to all 11-12-year-old girls. Mary Holland, CEO of Children’s Health Defense, which supported the class action lawsuit against Merck, said: One of the litigation’s achievements has been that thousands of Merck’s internal documents are now available. As these documents likely will be scrutinized by new vaccine-injured victims and their lawyers, there will be future efforts to seek justice on behalf of the young people betrayed, as there should be. 3. A trespass prosecution against Frances Widdowson, a former Mount Royal professor and free speech advocate, has been stayed following her arrest last December at the University of Victoria campus. Widdowson was arrested and received a trespassing citation after being on university property on Dec. 2, 2025 while wearing a billboard which included the phrase “What remains?” Widdowson was later released and issued a $115 fine for trespassing. A stay of proceedings typically means the Crown prosecutor has determined there is either no longer a substantial likelihood of conviction or that proceeding is no longer in the public interest. One of the most significant unanswered questions was whether the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms applies to universities in British Columbia, said the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom who assisted in Widdowson’s defence. The formerly tenured professor was fired by Mount Royal University in Calgary in 2021 after she had publicly criticized “wokeism” and identity politics on her website and social media. An arbitration ruling determined that her termination was excessive, but the arbitrator recommended financial compensation instead of reinstatement. Widdowson has continued to pursue reinstatement through labour arbitration and appeals processes. Link↗

4. Evan Blackman, a Freedom Convoy protester who had his bank accounts frozen under the Emergencies Act, will be appealing his conviction, with his lawyers set to argue that the court should consider whether his Charter Rights were violated. Lawyers with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on June 25 to challenge the court’s prior refusal to consider whether the freezing of Blackman’s bank accounts violated his Section 8 rights, which protect against unreasonable search and seizure. 5. The Department of Justice has announced a historic national health care fraud takedown involving 455 defendants, charging 90 physicians and other licensed health care professionals, in alleged schemes totaling more than $6.5 billion in false claims. Federal authorities reported seizure of more than $182 million in cash, luxury vehicles, jewelry, and other assets. The announcement describes the largest health care fraud takedown in Department history, but its significance lies in what the cases reveal about the operating environment in which modern medical fraud can scale. The cases involve alleged kickbacks, medically unnecessary services, false diagnoses, prescription-drug diversion, hospice fraud, wound-care billing schemes, Medicaid exploitation, and patient harm, including death. Health care fraud does not merely steal money from public programs. It corrupts the clinical relationship. It converts patients into billing instruments. It converts diagnoses into revenue opportunities. It turns the medical record into a financial device. When fraud enters medicine, the victim is not only the taxpayer. The patient becomes the point of extraction. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated: “if you use our health care system to enrich yourself at the expense of patients or the American people, we will find you, we will prosecute you, and we will hold you accountable.”

6. The Democracy Fund lawyers sent a demand letter to the Vancouver school board objecting to Dallas Brodie’s cancellation of an April townhall event. The VSB unilaterally cancelled the booking, citing the possibility of a “confrontation” between groups and concerns about ensuring a safe environment. It cited language from the BC Human Rights Code regarding the promotion of hatred and discrimination. Ms. Brodie retained The Democracy Fund who have since sent a letter to VSB’s counsel objecting to this improper, targeted cancellation. TDF Executive Director Mark Joseph said, “Our position is that the VSB cannot cancel a town hall hosted by an elected politician using the pretext of ‘security concerns,’ particularly where the police expressed none. In any case, Ms. Brodie’s office arranged for private security, so VSB’s stated reasons are not credible upon examination. If officials can arbitrarily cancel a politician’s speaking engagement, or do so via a heckler’s veto, the democratic process will grind to a halt. Some people in power seem to think that society will progress only if an intellectual elite curates opinions and expression; this view is hubristic and foolish. 1. A new national poll shows Rebel News viewership in Canada has doubled in the past year — and young Canadians now watch Rebel News at the same rate as The Globe and Mail. According to the latest ‘Trust in Media’ survey, nearly one in four Canadians now watches Rebel News either regularly or occasionally, marking another year of major growth for independent media. Among Canadians aged 18 to 34, Rebel News has reached parity with the Globe and Mail, one of the country’s oldest and most established news institutions. The poll also shows Rebel News’ trust numbers continuing to climb, in contrast to media sources like the CBC where trust numbers continue to fall. Link↗

2. Pride Toronto announced it is $700,000 short on funding ahead of this year’s annual parade, with organizers warning that demonstrations could be scaled back further next year after similar funding struggles in 2025. None of the major sponsors that withdrew last year returned in 2026, and additional sponsors either left or reduced support. Some of those sponsors listed last year included Google, Home Depot, Nissan, and Clorox. “We have made some strategic decisions (for next year), we cut off a stage, we have reduced programming, we’ve made quite a few changes, and but we’re still finding ourselves in a very similar position where we are in about $700,000 deficit,” executive director Kojo Modeste. 1. Mary Holland: “The HPV vaccines are very dangerous. They’ve caused hundreds, thousands of deaths. They’ve caused severe injuries. They do not prevent cervical cancer.”

2. Aaron Siri: “Did you know that the death rate from measles declined by 98% BEFORE the measles vaccine was introduced? This is all on the CDC website… That decline had nothing to do with vaccines.” So, if vaccines didn’t do it, what caused that decline from 1900 to 1963? The answer is better nutrition, better sanitation, clean water, etc., yet “science” wants you to believe that vaccines saved the day.

Dr. Bruce Rapley is an interdisciplinary applied biologist and systems scientist with expertise spanning human health, environmental science, biophysics, and complex biological systems.
