Aside from my uncomfortable reaction to the humourless committee chair, this brief exchange suggested we should place less emphasis in bring up children, on iPhones and more on knowing one’s Charter Rights and how to practice them in real life situations.
Pardy's argument is so brilliantly simple & obvious, it is almost laughable—and sometimes you have to laugh, to feel sane. While the federal government continues to welcome unprecedented percentages of people from around the world and replaces the founding nation, we will have to re-learn how to defend what we've taken for granted and Bruce Pardy is a solid place to start. Note who Pardy naturally “connects” with in the committee here and who he does not.
