Dr. Hodkinson is including the possible integration of the plasmid or pieces of it into the genome under the term of reverse transcription, but there is only need for reverse transcriptase for the mRNA. The plasmid DNA or some fragments of it can be incorporated as is. All it has to do is to make its way into the nucleus or be recombined with the genome during mitosis when the nuclear membrane is dissolved anyway, right? Not sure how the pseudouridine would fit in, but presumably without a problem. The pseudouridine does not prevent formation of RNA-DNA complexes which have been used previously (by Jessica I think) to explain the resistance of these complexes to degradation by DNAse in the jabs. The plasmid DNA fragments from incomplete DNAse degradation could theoretically make it even easier to be incorporated into the genome.
