Donald Trump must be having a royal old chuckle watching the spectacle he's created. A few tariffs, a few threats and suddenly Mark Carney and Ursula von der Leyen are rushing into each other's arms like two people who have just spotted the same iceberg. Welcome to the great transatlantic shotgun wedding courtesy Uncle Donald! Carney, looking as though he's just been appointed chairman of the world's most important board meeting, and Ursula, radiating continental determination, are positively giddy with photo opportunities. Handshakes, embraces, flags, solemn expressions and enough mutual back-patting to require a chiropractor. BUT theyve forgotten the best men, the bridesmaids, the wedding cake and possibly the marriage vows. But the photographers? My goodness, they've got those covered! One more posed handshake and surely world peace will break out.
And there sits Donald, the fellow who practically arranged the wedding by making life miserable for both families. Carney and Ursula are so busy posing as the saviours of Western civilization that one wonders whether they've actually had time to discuss what they're getting married for. This is less a diplomatic summit than a wedding reception held in a burning building … (France is on fire BTW) … Trump is the father of the bride, the shotgun is loaded with tariffs, and the happy couple can’t even find anyone to vouch for them and stand at their side …. The honeymoon? Presumably somewhere far, far away from Washington. One thing is certain, never has a marriage of convenience generated so many engagement photographs … with no time to even draft a prenuptial agreement!
Wayne, I am falling out of my seat laughing! Your real world comedy writing is on par with your amazing letters to elected representative; talk about being great in widely different genres! Bravo sir!
I must say I thoroughly enjoy the WoW each week but have a confession. The inspiration for this post came partly from Barbara Boyd of Promethean Action
that had the “shot gun wedding” idea that gave me a good belly laugh and another guy that’s one of the few members of the CBC (Crusty Brothers Club) that pointed out how Mark Corney and con der Leyn were all alone with no MPs or MEPs anywhere in sight to celebrate the occasion along with them … only them, by themselves, all alone, hitchin’ their wagons to each other, no vows, etc … so dig into AI with a couple of themes and about 3-4 minutes later throw in some real human creativity and voila we are having some fun …

Truth bombs rising graciously and gloriously out of today's conversation topics ! The pattern of truth is surfacing in all stages, being recognised in all ages and stages where words can no longer hide their deceptions and those perpetrating the deceptions. Hallelu yeah! I certainly predict a great rise in truthful insights within the populace where we all can see through the carnage all the way to the top especially in Carney Carnage soon to fall along with the 'club' he associates with. Their speech patterns are now exposing them all from the Supreme Court, Education, Politics, Corporations, Philosophy, Religions to Parenting in the home. When it is done right you cannot stop the exposure for All to see plainly and clearly who the culprits are. Next will be their written works done behind closed doors that we will now begin to see how their language was everything about intentional deception in all matters. With the correct stroke of the PEN even the Artificial Intelligence does not understand how the power of the Human Heart can make change happen and rewrite with clear instructions "To Do No Harm" and all that that means. God Bless us All in this Wave across the Country for Truth and the Right to Pursue our Lives and Dreams with Happiness unhindered for evermore. God's way, the Spark in all of us.

I was stunned when RFK encouraged people to take the MMR vaccine. That statement contradicted everything that he has ever said about vaccines and their harms. So, what would make a man turn on his principles? It would seem to me that someone has something on him and he is being extorted for one reason or another, in my opinion.

This is a copy of a comment I just made on Ted's substack, but it fits here because the same thing was discussed here as well.
I hope I am not going to be too hard on you Ted. I agree 100% with you on all the reasons you have outlined so well here. My only reservation on this inexplicable change in RFK's opinion is that we don't know his side of the story and as you said he's swimming with sharks. You also said "Bobby knows better" so I will reserve my judgement till I know his side. I got the feeling that Mark today here on the Wins was also willing to give Bobby some slack. And thanks Ted for everything you are doing.
I saw a program on breast cancer recently that suggested that the use of the mammogram itself causes breast cancer, due to the weight of the device on the breasts, which causes injury to the soft tissue, as well as exposing the breasts to radiation.
Also, I want to say that RFK Jr.'s remark about measles returning because people weren't taking the measles vaccine was probably an accurate statement. I don't think he was necessarily promoting the vaccine
If you follow the work of Dr. Andy Wakefield, he says that due to widespread use of the measles vaccine, the virulence of the disease has increased; and since the vaccine wears off after a few years, people who took the vaccine are at risk of getting a worse case of the measles if they don't take another shot, than if they had never had the shot.
I suspect that RFK Jr. is aware of the problem and wasn't allowed enough time to explain his position.
Between 15 to 20 percent of breast cancers are mammogram induced. Heard that back 10 years ago, not sure where the stats came from. Some university in the US. Here is an unrelated article. Thermography makes better sense, looking for hot spots.
I also would like to congratulate awesome young woman Willow that Mark mentioned in connection with the AI lawsuits. I think that's great that Willow recognizes and points out that AI companies are ripping off artists and other content creators. I have had the pleasure of meeting Willow and was impressed how smart and well informed she is and I take what she says very seriously.
