Several important stories this week highlighted growing demands for transparency, legal accountability, and the protection of civil liberties.
In the United States, former senior NIAID official and longtime Fauci adviser David Morens pleaded guilty to charges involving the concealment of federal records during the COVID-19 “pandemic.” The case centres on NIH-funded gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses and its links to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
In Quebec, the Superior Court ruled that government officials violated the Charter rights of Harvest Ministries International by cancelling its 2023 “Faith, Freedom, Fire” conference. The organization was awarded damages, while former Tourism Minister Caroline Proulx was personally ordered to pay punitive damages, marking a significant shift from the usual strategy of shielding public officials behind institutional liability.
Meanwhile, the National Citizens Inquiry held three days of hearings in High River, Alberta, examining the safety and future of Canada’s food and agricultural system. Farmers, researchers, and other witnesses exposed serious problems surrounding agricultural regulation, property rights, food independence, and the mounting pressures facing rural communities.
These wins reflect continued efforts to hold individuals accountable and protect fundamental freedoms.

WCH Austria reports: Residual DNA: Independent Experts Confront EMA with Overriding Public Interest Report and Demand Full Disclosure. The EMA can no longer rely on commercial-confidentiality claims to conceal the data required for an independent re-evaluation of Comirnaty and Spikevax concerning residual DNA contamination. The Transparency4Safety Initiative (T4SI) is gaining momentum: with two new expert access-to-documents requests now formally submitted to the European Medicines Agency, (EMA) we have taken another decisive step towards full regulatory transparency and an independent call for scientific reassessment of Comirnaty and Spikevax. Both Professor Dr Ulrike Kämmerer and Professor Dr Klaus Steger have filed individual requests with EMA, demanding the unredaction and disclosure of the regulatory data required to assess residual DNA independently. Their requests extend to the analytical procedures, validation reports, raw batch data, specifications, acceptance criteria and regulatory assessments on which EMA’s conclusions depend.
Slovenia has ended C-19 genetic jabs recommendation for everyone except the elderly. A good step albeit using the wrong reason, claiming the program was a great success and can be stopped now. Slovenia’s National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) now recommends COVID-19 vaccination only for specific high-risk groups for the 2025/2026 season, not for the general population of most ages. Now Jeremy Farrar “coincidentally” resigned from his WHO post on the same day that Morens admitted his guilt in court.
Book: Spike: The Virus vs. the People—An Insider Story. Sir Jeremy Farrar is British and a physician. Sir Jeremy Farrar headed the Wellcome Trust for ten years (2013–2023). In 2023, Farrar was appointed Chief Scientist of the WHO. Following a restructuring in 2025, he moved to the position of Assistant Director-General for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. In February 2020, Farrar was the initiator and a key participant in a notorious, secret email chain and conference call with Dr. Anthony Fauci and other top virologists. Sixty-two million for sustaining livelihoods by protecting biodiversity in other countries.
Twenty-nine million in funding to support small-scale financial institutions in developing countries. ( that’s more money for bankers.)
Canada providing 10 million in funding for Egypt’s agrofood sector (meanwhile what is happening to our own farmers here in Canada?)
Protecting broadcasting for change, engaging young women through media. Partner with BBC media action. $1.5 million.
Renewable energy in small island developing states. $16 million.
That’s about $200 million. There are thousands of liberal contracts worth millions of dollars that don’t impact Canadians and we’re paying for.

On Aug 18th, Medical Doctors for Covid Ethics International organized a meeting with Professor Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi addressing around 50 experts including myself and health advocates from around the world this week. David Morens The U.S. Department of Justice just announced in a press release that Former Senior NIAID Official Pleads Guilty to Charges Connected to Concealing Federal Records During COVID-19 Pandemic. David M. Morens served as a Senior Advisor to the Director (specifically in NIAID’s Office of the Director) from 2006 through 2022, and was also a long-time senior advisor to former NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci. The charges pertain to the notorious NIH grant titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence” that funded Peter Daszak, Ralph Baric et al. to perform their gain-of-function research on SARS bat coronaviruses with their colleague Shi Zhengli at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. John Leake noted that this is “Like Al Capone going to jail for income tax evasion” ; but let us hope this is the beginning of a snowball that will bring Fauci, Daszak, and Baric to their just end; sparing militia groups from having to intervene.

In the summer of 2023, Harvest Ministries International (HMI) organized “Faith, Freedom, Fire,” a Quebec City conference that would bring together people from across Canada for large-scale prayer meetings, musical performances and presentations. Although the event was not about opposition to abortion, then-Tourism Minister Caroline Proulx personally directed staff at the Quebec City Convention Centre to cancel HMI’s rental agreement.
Caroline Proulx Former Premier François Legault publicly backed the cancellation, saying Quebec would not permit “anti-abortion groups to put on big shows in public spaces.”
François Legault On July 31, 2026, the Quebec Superior Court found that the government’s actions violated HMI’s Charter-protected freedoms and ordered Ms. Proulx herself to pay $30,000 in punitive damages for her conduct in directing the cancellation. HMI was also awarded $30,636.92 in compensatory damages for losses caused by the cancellation, plus legal costs and interest. Constitutional lawyer Olivier Séguin said, “This judgment confirmed that governments cannot use public facilities to punish organizations because officials disagree with their beliefs. The Court rightly found that the Minister acted without legal authority and violated fundamental freedoms guaranteed by the Charter.”
This victory sends an important message to politicians across Canada: governments cannot simply shut down events because they disapprove of the beliefs of the people involved, and public officials can face personal consequences when they abuse their authority. Link↗

Last week, a federal court ordered them to stop. On August 5, Judge William Shubb issued a preliminary injunction protecting Drs. Pierre Kory, Le Trinh Hoang, and Brian Tyson. California is now forbidden from investigating or punishing these physicians for the COVID information and recommendations they give patients—simply because those recommendations differ from the government’s preferred narrative. The court was clear: the state cannot punish a doctor for independent medical judgment. It cannot rebrand dissenting speech as an “informed consent” or “standard of care” violation in order to silence it.

The National Citizens Inquiry conducted 3 days of hearings in High River, Alberta this week on the question: Are Farmers Safe in Canada? and Is Our Food Safe in Canada? Internationally recognized world experts, farmers, and citizens testified. They provided compelling evidence that our farmers and food is not safe in Canada. We heard testimony from: Prof. Frédéric Leroy, Dr. Sylvain Charlebois, Dr. John Fagan, Michael Yon, Nicolas Hulscher, Dr. Jessica Rose, Dr. Michelle Perro, Mollie Engelhart and others. Witnesses spoke to raw milk and dairy regulation, Alberta’s Bill 22, farmer marketing freedom and property rights, the complete depopulation of a Saskatchewan cattle herd following a bovine tuberculosis case, CFIA disease-response and testing procedures, nutrition and food freedom, ranch viability, regulatory impacts on rural communities, and questions surrounding AI data centres, electricity generation and agricultural communities. So everyone involved at both companies, the CDC, FDA, NIAID, etc, knew this was a complete scam. What’s emerging now from Tiny Fauci’s “diary” and phone is evidence of a massive coverup. The aerial, retrospective view of the Covid plandemic reveals a disease created to market a genetic product long in the making (the modifiedRNA platform), which is the classic Pharma MO. Canada’s former Minister of Public Safety, Stockwell Day warned Canadians as he reported on this. Day commented: “What’s happening in Spain with their invasion? They brought upon themselves and the same thing could happen to Canada. People need to get a grip and send the signal out. Send it to our elected people. Canada is not wide open. This invasion that is happening in Spain is something that that country brought upon themselves. Their leadership, their Prime Minister, signaled to the world that they don’t care if they get invaded, if there’s mass over immigration, open immigration, that they’re never going to send back people who are there illegally. When a country sends a signal that they don’t care if they get invaded by massive immigration without anybody being checked, without anybody being deported if they’re criminals, when you send that signal, your country is on the way to disaster. Last week, we shared how Coca-Cola’s custom cans permitted many phrases, including “Satan is King,” while “Jesus” and “God” were reportedly banned from custom labels. This week, Isabel Brown demonstrated a similar apparent bias in Google’s responses. When she asked what to do if alone with an atheist, Muslim, Buddhist, or member of several other groups, Google advised treating them like anyone else and being respectful. However, when she asked the same question about being alone with a Christian, Google recommended calling 911 if she felt unsafe. She reported similar results when asking about being alone with a Black, Asian, or Middle Eastern person, while the query about a white person again produced advice to call 911 if she felt unsafe.
Vera Sharav is a Romanian-born Jewish Holocaust child survivor and founder of the Alliance for Human Research Protection (AHRP).
